Fence remains level across the top, regardless of slope or gaps at the bottom.

Fence follows the grade of the land. The bottom and top rails are parallel to the ground and posts point straight up.

Rails and posts are perpendicular to each other and each section of fence is attached higher or lower on the post to accommodate the slope.
